DescriptionWith the ability to change shell type in about a second, you never have to worry about waiting the full reload length of time which is why this build is so great! How many times have you been stuck with AP loaded and then have a DD right there on you or worse yet, have a confrontation that dictates the use of HE like a DD encounter and then the next target is a broadside BB so after firing the HE salvo at the DD, you switch shell types to AP but by the time it's loaded, that BB has turned in or out so you would have been better off leaving it on HE and now you have to get rid of your AP salvo for less damage to switch to HE and then once that's loaded, that same BB is now broadside again?! Frustrating stuff but has happened to all of us.....in fact, it happens all the time, we just often look for another target to make the salvo of shell selection as viable as possible. Well not any longer with this build. Being able to switch that shell type in about a second means you can stay on the target you want, and have the best pick for the situation which is so much more valuable then you can imagine. The more I use this build, the more I see the need for it and how awesome it really is! Yeah sure, you loose that 10% AP shell damage and some traverse speed, but the traverse is made up for with the Running with Scissors perk and with well over 10k dmg per shell, that 10% is hardly noticeable at all. In fact, I actually find I get more penetrations with that 10% less shell damage even on ships like Yamato. The reload is so fast and with a MBRB or main battery reload booster, it really makes sure you can take proper advantage of situations that cause real hell on your enemy and the RWS or Running with Scissors perk is awesome for the extra 15% damage when close to your enemies. Another drawback of Gyrating Drillbits that's nice to loose is the 10% loss in speed so you get a faster ship, that doesn't feel a loss at all in shell damage, that makes 100% sure you have the perfect shell type for the situation, and a quick rudder shift to boot! When RWS kicks in, shell damage is nearly 13k per shell as well for AP and almost 6k for each HE shell which is no joke! Sure you don't have Will to Rebuild with this AL commander but the perfect cross between the brawler commander and the accuracy commander I find amazing, namely the fact that you get five heals with the accuracy of the commanders that only usually get three! Just make sure before switching shell type and playing with this feature, the shell is completely finished its reload time or you WILL be penalized with the full reload time wait. As long as the reload is complete, and the timer is no longer ticking for reload, the minus 95% shell switch type is in effect and 95% off any JB build is about a second. I've also played around with this build and tried using brawler instead and even with Megalomania for the 17 second reload and it still works great, just less accurate and shorter range, but tons of fun! JB works great as a get in there close and brawl as well especially with that MBRB and RWS even though many consider her only a sniper. She's actually great at it all as long as you set her up for it! Have fun and enjoy this super powerful build!
