A hypothetical design of a battlecarrier combining the ideas of various hybrid ships developed in the U.S. in the second half of the 1930s. The composition of the ship's main battery, with eight 14-inch (356 mm) guns in two turrets, corresponds to the Scheme F armament considered during the design of the North Carolina class. The general layout, with a hangar and a flight deck at the aft, is based on the 1939 Flight Deck Cruiser project.
